Susan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the founder of ARC. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University.
Susan has a wide array of experiences in working with anxiety disorders. Most recently, she has worked as a psychotherapist at The Center for Anxiety and OCD in Southern California and as a primary therapist at Discovery Mood and Anxiety, a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment center in Southern California.
Susan is dedicated to ensuring client comfort and establishing a robust therapeutic rapport. With a wealth of experience in applying therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), she is adept at assisting clients dealing with anxiety disorders. Susan also integrates elements of Psychodynamic work to help clients explore deeper facets of their experiences. Specializing in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), an evidence-based treatment, Susan excels in guiding and coaching parents as they navigate challenges with their children who have OCD and anxiety.
